100 Word Story

There once was a boy who loved to run. The track and the field were his home. The mile is the event for him. With the help from the teammates, he accomplished the goals that are meant to be met. One race after another, the difference in speed began showing at each meet. Soon realizing that these talents could help the team at future runs, the kid started to practice like no tomorrow. It payed off when the next gun went off. Lap followed by lap, working up, allowing the other person ahead, the runner finally took first place. Yay.
